"L&T’s scope comprised 47 Pre-assembled Units and 63 Pre-assembled Racks, fabricated at the Company’s Modular Fabrication Facility at Kattupalli, near Chennai, India. The modules were shipped from India to Karratha across 23 marine shipments in fully tested, pre-commissioned and ready-to-install condition. Project CERES is a landmark demonstration of modularisation capability in India by L&T, illustrating how substantial portions of a major project can be built thousands of kilometres away from their destination. Fabrication, equipment installation, integration, testing and pre-commissioning were undertaken in a controlled environment, enabling parallel execution, greater oversight of safety and quality, improved predictability and fewer interfaces at the project site"  https://www.larsentoubro.com/pressreleases/2026/2026-09-18-lt-completes-fabrication-and-delivery-of-110-modules-for-australia-s-largest-urea-plant#:~:text=L%26T%E2%80%99s%20scope,the%20project%20site

India is taking another step in its fusion-energy program. Scientists at the Institute for Plasma Research in Gandhinagar have commissioned a new 400 kW gyrotron, a system used to heat plasma inside the SST-1 tokamak. The new gyrotron provides roughly twice the heating power of the previous system and gives researchers greater ability to study and control plasma. Why does that matter? Fusion isn't only about reaching extreme temperatures. Researchers also need to understand how to create, heat and maintain stable plasma https://youtube.com/shorts/F5JpERGRCuU?si=UQBQaHQJZFTKR4hF

"India is home to 136 bamboo species, of which 125 are indigenous. According to the Government of India, the country has 13.96 million hectares under bamboo and is the second richest country in the world in terms of bamboo diversity. That versatility is perhaps best understood through people who have spent years working with it. In Jorhat, Assam, bamboo is not essentially a raw material for Prabhat Saikia. It has become the foundation of a business, a craft and a source of work for young artisans."  https://thebetterindia.com/sustainability/bamboo-uses-india-assam-artisans-livelihoods-1-plant-100-uses-chair-furniture-home-decor-12536557#:~:text=India%20is%20home,for%20young%20artisans.
